NGC 2335 - an open star cluster in the constellation Monoceros
NGC 2335 - ist ein offener Sternhaufen im Sternbild Einhorn. Er ist etwa 4.600 Lichtjahre vom Sonnensystem entfernt und wird nach Trumpler der Klasse III 3 m zugeordnet. Er beinhaltet etwa 80 Sterne und wurde im Januar 1785 von William Herschel entdeckt.
Object description
NGC 2335 - is an open star cluster in the constellation Monoceros. It is about 4,600 light-years from the solar system and is classified as Trumpler Class III 3 m. It contains about 200 stars and was discovered by William Herschel in January 1785.
