Objektbeschreibung: NGC 4103 ist ein stark konzentrierter offener Sternhaufen im Sternbild Kreuz des Südens. Er beinhaltet etwa 45 Sterne, wird nach Trumpler der Klasse I 3 m zugeordnet und ist ungefähr 5.300 Lichtjahre vom Sonnensystem entfernt. NGC 4103 wurde am 30. April 1826 von James Dunlop entdeckt. Object description NGC 4103 is a strongly concentrated open star cluster in the constellation Southern Cross. It contains about 45 stars, is assigned to class I 3 m according to Trumpler and is approximately 5,300 light-years away from the solar system. NGC 4103 was discovered by James Dunlop on April 30, 1826. |
