Objektbeschreibung:

Ced 125 A - liegt westlich des hellen Sterns Antares im Sternbild Skorpion. Es ist eine Mischung aus helleren blauen Reflexionsbebeln und schwacher rötlicher H-II Emission. Der helle Stern etwas unterhalb der Bildmitte ist phi Scorpio, der etwa 600 Lichtjahre vom Sonnensystem entfernt ist. Das Bild ist ein Mosaik bestehend aus 2 Segmenten.

Object description

Ced 125 A - lies west of the bright star Antares in the constellation Scorpio. It is a mixture of brighter blue reflection nebulae and faint reddish H-II emission. The bright star slightly below the center of the image is Phi Scorpio, which is about 600 light-years away from the solar system. The image is a mosaic consisting of 2 segments.
