Objektbeschreibung:

NGC 3324 - ist ein Emissionsnebel mit einem wahrscheinlich sehr jungen offenen Sternhaufen im Nordwesten des Carinanebels, der mit dem Emissionsnebel IC 2599 eng verbunden ist. Die Entfernung wird auf 9.000 Lichtjahre geschätzt. Die Sternengruppe HD 92206/A/B ist der wichtigste Energielieferant für die H-II Region. Er wurde am 1. Mai 1826 von James Dunlop entdeckt.

Object description

NGC 3324 - is an emission nebula containing what is likely a very young open star cluster in the northwestern part of the Carina Nebula, which is closely associated with the emission nebula IC 2599. Its distance is estimated at 9,000 light-years. The star group HD 92206/A/B is the primary energy source for the H-II region. It was discovered on May 1, 1826, by James Dunlop.
