Dome Mee

Mee - Moon age 10.8 days

Mee is one of very few domes in the highlands of the Moon (another one is Piccolomini 1). It is classified as effusive dome of Class C1 and has a diameter of 25 km with a height of 250 meters. It is located southwest of the "peanut" crater Heinzel.

Heinzel is one of the few craters with a non-circular shape. It was probably formed by multiple impact with a flat impact angle. The whole area around the dome is covered by ejecta from the Mare Orientaleimpact.
